converting C program from SCO to Redhat - mising libftp.h / fpt commands

hello..

trying to convert a C program from SCO to Redhat Linux 5.5 that includes calls to system functions in the libftp.h file.

I can not find a libftp.h file in Redhat... ftp server/client is installed.

but i cant find any include files to add to C program for ftp functionality. cant' find anything on the internet.

where can or how do i get the necessary files for libftp.h?

what am i missing...

thanks!!!!

Well, you have two immediate choices: copy the libftp.h file over, or rewrite the functions that you're missing. Since SCO has all sorts of restrictions on code, licensing, etc., I'd certainly not copy any files ANYWHERE, and just bite the bullet and rewrite the functions. From what I remember, SCO had a built-in FTP API, of which that file was part.

You may find some of the functions in the development libraries for the FTP servers for Linux now (proftp and vsftp spring to mind), but then you'll just be tied to THEIR development libraries, and may wind up in the same boat later on, if they change their code.
