Are you sure the shares that you are trying to view are shared? otherwise try
smb://192.168.0.2/c$

yes they are, the other PCs can view each other's shared folders. Only problem is with the 2 Ubuntu machines on LAN and they are able to access only the same single Windows PC, not even each other or even the Gateway Ubuntu. I have 2Windows PC and 2Ubuntu machines on LAN and my gateway is Ubuntu

Did you try what I told. This is what I do. I have the same problem that Hardy is not able to see the shared folders on the network. But coz I am the only person using Linux on desktop this does not seem a big issue for me and I access the shares when needed in the same way I told you to.

Error: Failed to mount Windows share
Please select another viewer and try again.
