Client cannot access internet via Squid

I using RHEL5.3 and I have SQUID 2.6.STABLE21.

I configured the squid to make a proxy connection to all of my office fellows. Theyŕe having Internet connection for a month of period. But now client machines cannot access internet for last 2 days. Everything is working... incl Squid. I tried pinging server from client machine and client from server, and I got reply. But internet could not be accessed by client machine.

Iīve tried reconfiguring squid and also rhel. At the end everything is working properly except internet.

My squid configuration details:

http_access allow all
http_port 192.168.2.2:3128
[Where 192.168.2.2 is the local ip given in the serverīs eth1.]

nothing else changed.

I got reply for both public and local IP while pinging from client and also reply from client.

sorry for my bad english.
Thanks in advance.

Have you enabled packet forwarding in squid server ??

Add this line to /etc/sysctl.conf

Quote:
net.ipv4.ip_forward = 1
Now run
Quote:
sysctl -p
