Code:
freshclam
to update your virus database definitions

As root run:
Code:

locate freshclam
and use the full path to the freshclam command to update the virus database.

According to this it should be installed under /usr/bin. I don't know how yum installed clamav, but you can try to d/l and install the package from the link above after removing the one installed with yum.
Note also that you should mount the partition before scanning for viruses. If your pendrive /dev/sdb1mounts on /media/usb, you should use:
Code:
clamscan -r /media/usb

Why are you crying?
Did you install clamav correctly? Did you update the virus definitions database?
If you did so, then post here the problem you're facing.

You can download ClamAV virus database from the web site; http://www.clamav.net/ and then place it in /var/lib/clamav/daily.inc.
You can find howtos and whytos there also.
