Changing desktop Icons

Hello all,

I have a stupid question. How do I change the appearance of an icon on my desktop? Ok I know that's a dumb newbie question but I'm a little OCD and it bothers me.

May great blessings be bestowed upon your head!

(???)

well, it depends what program 'draws' these icons as to how to change it, but fir KDE/Gnome i believe you can right click, edit them and change it there.

things like idesktop and fbdesk have their own directory in ~ where you can configure them

If you right click on the icon you should see resize.

Yeah that is a window manager. As said just right click on your icons and you should see resize.
