Question CentOS - Yum - Specify Mirror


Is it possible to specify a mirror for YUM to target when doing updates?
I want use only update from this mirror.
http://lug.mtu.edu/centos/

Disable the fastest mirror plugin, create a /etc/yum.repos.d/somename.repo with a custom repo name and the repo address you want then use (or create alias for) 'yum --disable-repo=\* --enable-repo=somename check-update;'?
