boot problems


can anyone tell me how to remove LILO/GRUB from the master boot record?:smash:

Assuming you are using Windows, you need to boot off of your Windows boot disk and type fdisk /mbr and you should be good to go.

boot problems

do not use fdisk/mbr if you are runnin windows xp it will mess up windows xp boot. if you are in fact using xp boot from the cd and go to recovery console and type fixmbr and xp will right a new mbr one that wont crash. I know this from experience.
