Boot Configuration

if my computer is defaulted to boot to vista and I install lilo on sda1 (Linux is installed on sdb) will lilo overwrite vistaBootPro? Or is there a way to install lilo on a different sector of the boot sequence?

I'd like to have an option every time or restart my computer on which OS to run.

That's exactly what Lilo (or Grub) does, regardless where it's installed.

Great info

Awesome Thank You.

I feel more confident installing linux on my computer. I've heard about other competent linux users messing it up at times.
