Hey guys!

I installed Fedora Core 1 and I would like to set up autologin into KDE desktop.

I made KDE as the default desktop (using switchdesk KDE) and had no problems logging into KDE using the display manager.

I then used gdmsetup to set up automatic login. Now, everytime it logs in automatically, it keeps going into Gnome. I then disabled autologin, and type in usr/pswd at the display manager and loads up to KDE desktop just fine.

I looked into other threads and tried modifying files (i.e. setting anything I could to KDE instead of Gnome).

What am I missing??? All I want it to do is autologin into KDE but keeps going into Gnome.

hi vacman, welcome to lq. have you tried running kdmconfig or xdmconfig to overwrite your existing profile? another thing to check would be

/etc/sysconfig/displaymanager
