Unhappy auto logout

hello,

does anyone know how to turn the "auto-logout" off?
We are running RH 9 on several machines,
and they have a bad habit of logging out the X session that
has been idle for some time.

Thanks a lot! for any help...

Hi, and welcome to LQ!

Actually I personally find it a good habit :}

If you don't like it check
Code:
/etc/profile
/etc/profile.d
~/.bashrc
~/.bash_profile
~/.bash_login
and see whether any of them set a TMOUT value,
and if they do, change that to 0.\

Cheers,
Tink
