an easy question for you guys


hi all,
i would like to know if there is a way that i can make the icons on my desktop open with a single-click rather than having to double click. I tried googling but didn't find anything. Thanks again for all your help.

yes, you can do that... but you'll have to say what desktop environment you are using if you want someone to explain the process to you... kde?? gnome??

it would go something like:

Expand (on the left side) the Peripherals section, select the 'mouse' entry, and select 'Single-click to open files and folders' in the Icons-section.
