[SOLVED] adding fedora 15 to mint 12 grub menu

I have added mint 12 on Pc running fedora 15(on different partitions),I cant find fedora on the grub menu I ve tried mounting the fedora partition to run update-grub but ,I cant mount the device am getting this error (unknown filesystem type 'LVM2_member')any help

Fedora, by default, sets up it's disk using Linux Logical Volume Manager. However, Debian-based (and by default Ubuntu derivatives) distros does not install the Logical Volume Manager package by default.

You must install and setup the package before GRUB will recognize the volume that Fedora is installed on.

Code:

sudo apt-get install lvm2
sudo update-grub

Fedora should then be listed on GRUB's menu items.
