Question Abou install Package

Dear Friends ,

I have a question about installing package . Whain I am going to install the following packages like following way then it shows :

[root@localhost rpms4.0]# rpm -ivh xorg-x11-deprecated-libs-*.* --aid --force
warning: xorg-x11-deprecated-libs-6.8.1-23.EL.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID db42a60e
Preparing...
########################################### [100%]
1:xorg-x11-deprecated-lib########################################### [ 50%]
2:xorg-x11-deprecated-lib########################################### [100%]

Here preparing goes to 100% . xorg-x11-deprecated-lib goes to 50% and
again xorg-x11-deprecated-lib goes to 100% .

Here I can't understand the % calculation . sometimes 50% and then 100% . Can anyone plz explain me why it shows different "%" calculation and what is the difference ?

Im no expert, but if i had to guess, i would think that either it fails the first time, or its reporting timely progress reports. Probably the first one.
