Smile A problem with installing Wimax model in ns2

Hi, I'm new in NS2, I got problem when I tried to install wimax(NIST) in NS-2.34 then I changed to NS-2.31, and the same problem. Then I chosed Wimax module 1.02 and this model didn't work with ns2.28 and it istalled with ns-2.31 but when I tried to run example.tcl provided with the model, there are many errors.
I need to work Wimax, my question is which Wimax model and which ns2 version is best. any help is appriciated.
Regards
Maha

Welcome to LQ.

Not sure that example.tcl will work with wimax version 1.02 ;

example.tcl and example2.tcl will work OK with wimax 2.03

More questions ?
Then please specify your OS, like Fedora 17, Ubuntu 10.04 etc.

Ref. your mail : Cygwin and ns-2.34.

The wimax-2.03 patch is for ns-allinone-2.31.
May work in later versions. And may not work.

Suggest : Install a genuine Linux OS in a virtual machine (VirtualBox.)
Then you can have as many versions of ns-allinone-2.xx as you want,
installed at the same time. ( Do not add any of them to a *PATH.)
