WindowsNTFS on a Linux -> Windows System

*********** New Topic posted, delete this topic if you wish - Sorry ************

I have a pathetic laptop in my room that I have been using to play shared music from this system through my stereo, and am now trying to get it to work while I am running linux (slackware) I messed with samba forever but got really confused and never had any success. Is there a simple way to do this? Is samba the best approach? I can post my samba configuration if it helps, but I dont even know if its installed correctly Ugh.

Edit: Ok, here is my VERY simple samba setup:

#============= Global Settings =================
[global]
workgroup = MSHOME
netbiosname = Samba

[homes]
read only = no
browseable = no

[music]
path = /ntfs-c/Documents and Settings/All Users/Documents/Music/
force user = administrator
msdfs proxy = no

2 Machines, sorry, I started another topic because I didnt like how I named this one (its confusing) But its kinda the same problem. Now I have gotten to the point where I realize I need to mount the folder with smbfs, but I dont really know what that does or what it is and trying to get anywhere without knowing those two simple things is a headache.... I need to do more research I guess but im focused on my history test right now so Heh, here's the other topic: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=239251
