i'v been looking for an answer and i'v been looking in a lot of forums and though lot of documentation... now i need your help!!!

i need to install a linux box (FC3) to do the following:

in a very big internal network (university network) i need a box with dsl connection to internet. i don't want to use the conection from the university, because of blocked ports and so on...

my question is, how can i install a router (internal network + dsl router), but the connection in the internal network shuld be through vpn? it has to be very secure, because we don't whant people using the internet from our project.

is this possible? is there another posibility to manage users and control bandwidth?

our server:

AMD K6/2 400 MHz, 190 MB-Ram 20 GB-HHD, 2 NET-Cards. Intern IP + DSL connection on the other side.


the instalation of FC3 is no problem.
