Question Terminal Services Capability

Below is a file I had to download in order for me to print at home when connected to a windows 2003 server network. I would rather work with my SuSE 9.3. does ne1 know a software that would provide similar capability, giving the server access to my local printers? Thanks ahead!

ScrewDriversfxp/SimplifyPrinting Client for Terminal Services Printing (v3.16)
This free software must be downloaded and installed to print documents over the Terminal Server. For example, if you take a loan application over Terminal Server on a client's computer at their home, and you attempt to print their documents on their printer, it will not work unless you download and install this printer client on their computer. All Windows Operating Systems (1.4 MB)

A) You have not posted any file. Only the (short and out of context) description of a Windows program.
B) ScrewDrivers uses a proprietary protocol, I don't think you will find any compatible Linux program.

This is my understanding of what ScrewDrivers does; if I am right, you probably won't find any solution:
The server side of the program is installed on a company's server(s) and allows them to print to any client connected to a printer, without requiring any special drivers on the server, but a special program on the client (this is what you wish to replace).

Thanks for the reply,

Almost right. Well, On my Windows, I had to install the file described above, so when I connect to the server at work via remote desktop, I can print using my local printers. The application pulls Printers from my SPooler service. May be we are saying the same thing. The only other example I can think of is say you're trying to print from a particular website, but a certain program must be running on your system for your printers to be recognized. I will be disappointed if I can't do it with SuSE.

http://www.tricerat.com has the Windows Version

Tricerat has patented the ScrewDrivers protocol. Only they can create a Linux version.

You're right.

I contacted them after my last post and was told to be expecting a Linux version in the future. There is always a way!

True, triCerat ScrewDrivers is the coolest thing I have ever seen. Terminal server printing is really easy.
Check out the new full featured Simplify Suite v4, which integrates Terminal Server Lockdown, Terminal Server Profiles, Terminal Server Printing and Resources Management.

A) Is this some kind of triCerat ad?
B) Since this product is not compatible with Linux (and nothing can be done about that), there is no point to making this post on a Linux forum.
C) All the links you posted are in German.
D) You can do the same thing with free software programs like cups.
