Suse 9.0PRO (Uable to Open Modem)


my modem was working good and i didn't have any problems with it....untill i went to my friends house played some games on his lan and then updated suse .....(he has t1)...when i got home, i tried connecting on the internet with kppp but i received a msg that says "unable to open modem" what the *uck does this mean and how do i fix it....i tried reinstalling my newtork card and modem and then installing it ... that didn't work... i'm a n00b couldn't fix it so i thought some of u pros might be able to help me here .... thnx...
