Solution Req for real-time scenario

Scenario:
Company A - Home company - Europe
Company B - Client - USA

Network A - Home Co's independent network
Network B - Client's independent network

Net A and Net B are just totally independent networks that intersect only in the Internet cloud.

300 users in Europe are working for the US Company on various projects. ( Offshore Development Centre)

They are working on desktops that are networked and linked to the US directly by a E1 link. mails, internet, everything goes thru this link to US and then goes to Internet cloud.

Now, all these users check their home company's email thru Outlook Web Access(owa). This is adding heavy load to the already over-loaded web-access server. So we are looking for a solution to somehow make these users check mails using clients(outlook) on the network-b(client's)

Any ideas on how to implement it ?

You could either open up the firewall to allow access direct to the e-mail servers or create a vpn between the networks. A vpn is likely to add an extra layer of security and depending on what you use may also offer compression.
