Angry SMCWUSB-N [ralink rt2820 chipset] no linux drivers

Using suse-10.3 Yast shows these ralink packages:

rt2500
rt2500-kmp (2 module packages)
rt2x00
rt2x00-kmp (2 module packages)

None of them show rt2820 in the breakdowns.

I installed the 2x00 packages anyway but Yast still shows only a ghosted kernel-module dialog when trying to config it.

I had a look at the site http://linux-wless.passys.nl which has a long list of drivers. rt2820 is not listed but under SMCWUSB (chipset rt2720) it says this:

SMC 802.11g/n SMCWUSB-N rt2720 red Driver available from manufacturer: http://web.ralinktech.com/ralink/Hom...ort/Linux.html , or http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com

(red means 'not supported'). Doesn't look too promising but it might be worth pursuing.
