Hello all,
I am new to the forums.
I have just redid my schools computer room with Ubuntu.
unfortunately the teachers office has all windows and a windows server.
I am trying to connect the staff network drive to the computerroom but the old network admin
changed the user name and password before she left the school.
Now i need a user name and password. Is there a way to get the user name and password using ubuntu so i can get the drive open for the school?
and also to get the drive shared for the teachers on the windows systems?
Bootable password change disks work for changing the windows administrator password, but as mentioned, there is some risk if you don't know what you're doing.
Tread lightly, especially if of have people's content and questionable or unknown backup practices...
