In your router settings you had a DHCP reservations button, choose that and give a chosen MAC address a static IP address if thats what you are trying to do (so you know where things 'are' on your LAN)

Dynamic Host Control Protocol - DHCP - is designed to just issue any free IP address when asked, you can always give a specific IP to a specific device if that what you are aiming for.
