Quagga - local routing inside network
Hello everyone,
I'm new around, registered to get some kind of help with quagga.
So far I managed to install quagga and successfully announce a /24 to my ASN via bgpd. How could I setup a default gw(.1) for newly announced /24 and send traffic over to a separate VLAN/switch so I can bind IPs from /24 in question to servers behind a switch in a different VLAN on the same core network/routers. Core network is provided by a datacenter.
I was able to bind a few IPs from this /24 to local server where I run quagga, it is publicly reachable and working fine if I use one of gateways from some other IP ranges(be it mine or provider by network provider).
Some information you may need:
1) I have an eBGP session to core network provided by a network provider I deal with.
2) I currently have a few /24s announced to to their core network and their ASN in a VLAN assigned to me
3) New /24 which I'm bringing in runs on a separate VLAN created by them and my ASN on eBGP session at my Quagga's BGPd daemon.
What I want to do:
1) Setup a default GW on quagga server so I can use .1 of new /24 as a default gateway. Right now I use one of gateways for other /24 I have on their ASN(other VLAN) and it is working fine.
2) I want to bind IPs from new /24 to other servers that run within 1st VLAN across multiple switches on the same core network.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
