qmailrocks smtp auth not wokring

I set up qmail with the qmailrocks setup, it's all up and working except i just realized, auth-smtp isn't working, is it possible to tell if it's installed and just not enabled, if not can i install that without having to redo my mail server? I hope not because everything else is working beyond my best expectations.
thanks to anyone who can help

if u did "/downloads/qmailrocks/scripts/qmail_patches.script" at http://www.qmailrocks.org/qmail.htm . this means u have smtp auth.

try to telnet your server, and try to send email outside domain. (not your domain)

[root@linux root]# telnet 212.x.x.x 25
Trying 212.x.x.x...
Connected to 212.x.x.x.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 mail.domain.com ESMTP
mail from:maxut@domain.com
250 ok
rcpt to:maxut@yahoo.com
553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

if u get this error u have smtp auth.
if u dont have smtp auth. u must patch qmail source with smtp auth and compile it again. it is not necessary to install other packets again.

it was the qmail queue i hat to fix, that seems to be what forces it to use auth, my remaining issues are, i want ssl at some point, and i want to make something like TDMA tools for squirrell mail ( that looks good), i want people to manage their own blacklists and white lists, but i'm so lost in the configuration with vpopmail, cuss it's not just ~/Maildir, it's that /home/vpopmail/domains/... well you know what it is if you know qmail rocks.

thanks for your help
