no_proxy has no Effect

Hello, everyone!

In the place where I work, internet sites are reached through a proxy server. However, a specific internal site, that is hosted in a server in my own company, seems to be accessed only without a proxy, i. e., directly. I affirm that because I have already tried to access it using the normal network configuration (with proxy), but it does not work. Using another web browser, which is configured to use no proxy, I can access the site normally.

I have configured the proxy environment variables http_proxy, https_proxy and ftp_proxy in ~/.bashrc, /etc/environment and /etc/profile, using a username and a password, which are obligatory, and I can access internet without problems. However, I can not access this specific site even having set no_proxy in the same places. For example: in /etc/environment, I wrote

Code:
no_proxy=<site>
and so on.

I also wrote in the LAN configurations of my distribution (Ubuntu 18.04), which are set as manual, this site in the place written ignore proxy, but without success.

Could you help me, explaining me what I should do in order to access this specific site without proxy?

Thank you in advance!

You really ought to let your company's IT department assist you on this. They are the ones that have the best information on how it was configured.
