NFS: Buggy server -nlink = = 0! nfs_fhget: iget failed

I am seeing this error message output from CENTOS 4.5
This is happening on approx. 5 systems out of a cluster of 65.
When using a 'system monitor' program which shows cpu & network
activity, the network portion of the display will blank out. But,
when you rsh into the system, network & cpu activity are processing data.
