Newbie - How SuSE Linux COnnect to Windows 2003 Internet Connection

Foremost, Im a newbie to Linux, try to make it simple - Please and Thanks.

I set up SuSE Linux 9.1 on workstation and I want to have internet connection. The internet is directly connected to Windows 2003 Server.

The Server[Windows] has a internet connection via Gilat Satellite system and it uses Winproxy 5.1 to share it internet connection to multiple machine via LAN(Ethernet)

How do SuSE connect to Windows for Internet Connection?

Thanks in Advance

Suse to Windows 2003

Use the IP address from the windows server as your gateway on the Suse workstation. Use the outside DNS servers IP addresses as the DNS on the Suse workstation. That should work. Obviously you need to start checking if you can ping the windows server first to test network connectivity.

Hi, I'm still lost.

Can you give me step by step as to where will I start, specifically changing the IP address.

Points to consider: Windows 2003[server] is using Winproxy 5.1 to distribute Internet Connection
