my computer(FC4 linux) can't ping other computer?


Dear all:
my computer(FC4 linux) is Toshiba L20,with Realtek RTL8139, my router is SpeedTouch Home plus 511,whose IP is 10.0.0.138.
and I set ethernet card getting IP by DHCP. RTL8139 has been activated, and I can succeded to ping my computer's IP,but failed to ping my router. And I can connect to my router in WindowsXP with the same settings.
Pls help me, thank u.

make sure you check the default gateway route is added or handed down when you received the DHCP address.
