I'm going to take a shot in the dark here,

1.Go to the KDE "start button",

2.find the system folder, open up Yast, it's probably going to ask you for a password if your not signed in as root (which you shouldn't be) enter your root password (you should have entered it during the SuSE installation),

3.go to the network devices tab, I believe you want (sorry, I'm doing this from memory) to click on the network card icon, then select your network card from the list,

4.Click configure (you should be good from here)

after your finished you should be good to go....

0000 - If your network card isn't in the Yast list (it should be mine was detected) - 0000

Search Google with the name and model of your network card and SuSE 9.1
