Iptables...


I blocked all tcp ports with iptables I accept only 80 (for my browser) but it didn't worked!
Need to accept another port?

Thanks!

PS.I have suse linux 8 pro.

I bet he uses the S.u.S.E firewall tools ... well for reverse lookup you might need Port 53 UDP. Depends on your apache setup, etc!

iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -j DROP
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --destination-port 80 -j ACCEPT

but mozilla didn't work!

Put the ACCEPT before the DROP, otherwise, nothing will happen. All requests will be blocked.
