You need to supply a little more info than just saying your a newbie that cant connect to the 'net;it doesnt give us much to work with
What kind of modem do you have?
Do you use a network card or USB?
What does Rogers Cable require: DHCP or static IP?
Does your computer meet these requirements?
Need to know stuff like that.

Thanks God, at least someone is listening to me

I use modem of Rogers model C2KU Lite 1.1 and I connect directly to the Internet through this modem, not a USB or network card
Rogers Cable requires a DHCP.

My computer meets the requirements you ask

Thanks for litsening to me

.... I am to assume then that this is an internal pci modem? Never seen one before... lol we always used NIC cards. But, did you check to make sure dhcpd is running? Might be your problem there. And if you're not using a NIC card, did you check to make sure RH9 sees that you have that modem in your computer?

I imagine that this is a new hybrid service - check out this section of the Rogers page:

http://www.shoprogers.com/Store/Cabl...ntent/lite.asp

Question is still internal or external, and what is High Speed Lite?
