Dig problem in Slackware 11

Hey,

I'm having problems with dig in slackware 11.
When I try to check the DNS records of what ever site it returns me this:
*@*:~# dig www.linuxquestions.org
dig: couldn't get address for 'ĀĻ': not found

How can I fix this ?

Thanks in advance,
Steve
