I have set up a linux server running redhat 7.0. There are windows clients running off the server, but my linux client will not connect. The Linux machine does connect to the internal private network, but won't go through our server's ip.
My server has 2 nic cards. One of them is being given its ip through dhcp, and the other one has been assingned an ip for our internal network. All the windows clients that are on the network have the server's ip address as their gateway and they are running through the server fine. If I set my Linux client up for dhcp and run it through a different server it works, but I can't seem to get it to go through my server with an assigned ip address. Both the server and client are running rehat 7.0. Also, my linux client is able to ping everything on the internal network, it just can't reach the second nic card on the server.
