Configure MS Outlook Express with Squid

Hi guys,
I have a network running RedHat9 running Squid proxy with predominantly Win2k clients. The client machines have outlook express configured but could not authorize with the mail server which is hosted in a remote web site. We do not have an internal mailing system of our own and the Web mail is the only means of communication. Is there any way to do this?
Thanks in advance.
Abhra
