Centos KVM and guests IP

Hello everyone,
this is my first post and I will try to be as precise about my problem as I can.
I managed to setup KVM with Qemu (for cloud purposes, I used cloudstack.org software). On the host machine ifconfig shows multiple interfaces configured:
cloud0, cloudbr0, eth0, virbr0,vnet0 and vnet1 (all have local IP addresses, and cloudbr0 having 192.168.10.4 with gateway 192.168.10.1 and later to the net.)
Also servers have two NICs on board. Now, when a guest is created, it pics up an public IP and has Internet connection to the outside world. ifconfig on the guest shows eth0 device with public IP and lo device and I only have one nic. Problem is when I try to bind another IP to the eth0 device ie. eth0:0. I tried to bind public IP and I was not able to ping that IP from the outside world. Also I tried to put 192.168.10.x, same thing. Does anyone knows how to add another IP to KVM guest, given the info here?
Thanks in advance
