Cannot find eth after switching new compiled kernel

hi friends, the story is that I was compiling a new kernel version (Debian) on a bangwagong VPS, everything went well and I was able to go into the new kernel via grub after rebooting.

The issue came that I found the VPS cannot be sshed and I cannot find any eth via ifconfig....

May I ask has someone met the same issue? I tried to google it but still not get it fixed... pls help....
