Question Cannot access Internet from Vmware guest : Cent O/S when adsl router is bridge mode

Hello Everyone,

Greetings. !! . I am stuck into the problem as below

I have Windows XP SP2 as my host O/S and have installed VMware Workstation 6.0. I am running Cent O/S 5.3 as the guest O/S.

I get connected to Internet via a ADSL router ( BSNL - ISP ). Initially my router was in PPPoe mode ( U/N and P/W stored on the ADSL router ) and hence was able to access internet both from WinXP ( Host 0/S ) and CentO/S ( O/S on Vmware ) .

But after I turned my ADSL router into Bridge mode where in I get connected by authenticating from WinXP via PPPoe mode ( U/N and P/W are now stored on the Win XP machine ) .. I cannot access Internet from my guest O/S ( i.e. Cent O/S.)

Win XP IP : 192.168.1.2
Guest O/S ( Cent O/S) : 192.168.1.5
ADSL Router : 192.168.1.1

Here is the result of ipconfig/all

C:\Documents and Settings\Kevin>ipconfig /all
