Broadcom 4400x 100/10 integrated controller on Slackware 9.1

Hi-
I am trying to get my Broadcom 440x 100/10 integrated controller to work on my Dell Inspiron 1100 using Slackware 9.1 and the 2.6.6 kernel. I can't seem to get it to work. I tried configuring my kernel and selecting the broadcom driver but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas? Could it be my ISP?
Thanks,
Chris

I solved my problem! I just restarted my computer today and for some reason it worked!
