3c501 device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.

Hi all...
I have Fedora Core 3 installed on my PC.
Internet is not accessible in FC3.
On same PC, internet is working.
When, I went in system-config-network window,
& click on 'Activate' button
there on the screen, it is giving error as .......

3c501 device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.

In my distro if it did not recgonize the ethernet card while installing
then after installing I have to go an option called network devices to configure my ethernet card.
Maybe the same apply to you,re distro
