You seem to want to complain about others posting, yet don't seem to have provided any help of your own thus far. Want to complain? Then click the REPORT button. But you need to be aware about what you're complaining ABOUT. No one has insulted anyone, used profanity, etc., but have been blunt about things.

Your friend won't provide details, and won't answer questions. This is page two of this thread...and they've posted back a few times thus far, mainly to inform us that they *WILL NOT* provide details...again, what do you think anyone, anywhere will be able to do to help??

Any non-trivial tasks are best done on a PC running Linux.

What is the open source OS would you reccomend? I have read about Replicant, but it only works on old phones.

I don't have experience with phone OSes other than Android. Phones are not designed to run third-party OSes.

Lineage doesn't work on your device, and that WILL NOT address the issues you've mentioned about the random reboots nor the 'disappearing' messages. And you will/may lose the ability to install Android apps (like telegram, whatsapp, etc.), since you may not have access to the Android app store.

And since you started out by saying how much of a new user with little technical knowledge, are you really going to be able to root your phone, download custom ROM's, flash the device, etc., etc., and carry out all the steps you need a phone and computer to perform??? Perhaps dedec0 can assist you with all that.

Again; the problems you're having aren't ones a technical forum can solve.

Everybody - esp. TB0ne - save your breath.
Post #21 has made it perfectly clear what we're dealing with here.
And it doesn't matter whether we're being trolled or OP actually believes all that stuff - there's nothing we can do anyhow.
Personally I know which one's more likely...

Ouch. That the same Android 6 phone you wrote about in another thread? I'm surprised you can reach your bank with it at all, but it definitely isn't safe to do so. Not even just for "a moment".

It is true, they work perfectly, and i am not a person so rare for that, in the country i live. But if you want to know details, ask about it in the other thread, or my friend's thread will be hijacked, and i do not want this.

"but what would you do? how would you proceed"

The simple but maybe expensive solution would be to purchase an up to date phone. There have been some reports of phones that get malware that can't be removed by a restore.
Google/Android lets you change to a new phone pretty easy. Samsung has a program that helps.
Can consider Apple. Either case you need to have an account based access.

There are a few alternative phone OS's but it would take a well supported phone and almost none are.

There are some secure by default phones. https://www.itpro.com/mobile/mobile-...re-smartphones Stuff is only secure till it gets hacked.

Some enterprise level phones used to exist. Not sure how they are doing anymore.

I'd never use an old phone OS for banking. Be sure to enable two factor authentication.

Cris, I believe you're telling the truth, because I am/have been in your shoes.

My advice is, don't invest in any new stuffs. Resistance is futile, don't
ask for help nor talk about that. People might think you are crazy. Just consider
your phone a goner.

As for me I don't do anything serious with my cell, or even with my Internet.
Code:
1- I walk to the bank.
2- No wireless/bluetooth in my house
3- I use a Chromebook for my daily browsing to which I do a powerwash frequently
4- As for my Main (Linux) computer , these are my defences

   ----- outside world
     ----- VPN
       ----- Firewall
         ----- Firejail
           ----- Virtualbox
My sin: once I subscribed to a shady ISP because they offered a cheap price.
