Android 10 vs Android 11

Can anyone give any comparative experience on Android 10 vs 11? Ideally someone who has used both?

My phone is on Android 10, which is a great OS, but I have the option to upgrade to Android 11 and I'm not sure if it's going to be worth it. Seeing as it's a one-way process, it would be good to know if anyone here had an opinion of how the two measure up against each other.

What are people's thoughts on either/both?

I never even noticed the change - except the message to reboot.
But then I have the assistant disabled, gestures turned off and it runs non-interrupt mode for more than half the week.
For me it's just a phone and a camera I choose to use when I want ...

Android 10 vs Android 11

Yeah, same. My phone is a Pixel 3. It came with 10. The upgrade to 11 happened and it still looks & works the same for the most part. The version animation thingy is a volume knob which goes up to 11.

Hah, is that what it is. I didn't notice that. I'm glad they included the reference somehow.

I have now a recycle bin (on Android 11) and even more automatic pseudo-intelligent background annoyances. And even more useless preinstalled apps.

Oh yes, and android 11 has a "deep freeze" feature, which means unused apps will be automatically frozen.

Presumably they are still able to send notifications. This is a good feature if so, should have been implemented long ago.
