Hi folks,
When I am trying to connect my MOTOROLA W230i mobile phone through a data cable on RHEL AS 4, the connection is not happening.
Do I need to install any files for this to happen ?
Any kind of help is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Why would you want to use a server like that to connect to a mobile phone?? RHEL AS is specially designed for the largest processing jobs, such as running enterprise database clusters like Oracle, and is not at all intended to do things like you are trying to use it for.
That said, it's still Linux, and it'll be possible, but it'll not be fun. What would be SO much easier is to use an appropriate distribution, e.g. ubuntu, and probably find the drivers and management software required are already available.
