menu editor in settings/mainmenu but it doesnt work with
the menu i see on my bottom left.

Anyone with the answer?

I am trying to imagine what you are asking without having Mint in front of me. Do you want to add application icons to the menu bar at the bottom left for fast launch? I open the applications menu and drag the desirable application icons down to the bar. This is typical with gnome which I assume you are using.

Hi there,

Depending on what you are trying to do, I suggest you right click the the Menu icon in the panel and you will see "Reload plugins". Click this after any changes you make and they will be included/deleted from your menu.

There is one exception however: that is with the Wine menu (if you have wine installed). The icons don't self delete from the menu after an uninstall.

Others are welcome to jump in here but it has been my experience.

Best regards
John
