Using mint ~2 weeks on my mini9. Really enjoying the distro.
I came from using regular Ubuntu.
Only regression I am seeing is my flash has gotten flaky. Sites such as failblog.org that have more than one linked youtube video will usually play one or two videos and then the rest disappear from firefox. A reload of the page doesnt help. must restart ff.
I amusing non-free flash 10 from repo.

Reason: speeling :)
Get rid of flash, completely. Now go to adobe's flash site, download and install it while firefox is closed.
Also, try turning compiz or other eye candy off.
Hope that helps
