Does Mint 13 Mate/Cinnamon + Compiz play well?

Hello all,

I'm looking to do a clean Mint 13 (64bit) install and was wondering if Mate and/or Cinnamon work with Compiz?... or if there are any problems and potential work-arounds.

Thanks.

Edit: I wanted to know if they work well with Compiz.
