DNS woes on Mint

Running Mint 21 and so far so good, but I am having an issue that I cannot seem to find a solution for.

I have a local DNS (pi-hole) running and I have defined the addresses of local devices in there. If I use a windows box and ping by name one of the servers it works no problem. If I ping from my Mac, again by name, it works. If I ping the same box from my Mint box I get 'Name or service not known' if I do the ping by address it works.

I use nslookup and change to my local DNS I get the right address when I look for the server. Problem is that if I don't the Server that nslookup is using by default is 127.0.0.53 (IK it is because of systemd-resolved). If I use resolvectl status It shows my DNS setting properly.

What can I do to fix this issue?

OK fixed it... I changed the line #DNSStubListener=yes to DNSStubListener=no in /etc/systemd/resolved.conf, rebooted and now everything works as expected.
