Question Create a blue ray iso

I normally use DeVeDe but now that I have and bluray burner on my pc I want to create blueray disc from my home videos and other avi and mp4 videos. There is no option in DeVeDe for bluray iso creation is there another program that does it in Linux Mint??

No. Actually using LMGTFY with this few search terms is a bad choice. Basically you're telling a new fellow LQ member that you do not want to invest time helping him and that he should go find out for himself. In the end this may result in a loose/loose situation for LQ, for the OP and for all that follow if no solution or answer is posted. While members who use LMGTFY still think it is mildly jocular using LMGTFY itself may be perceived as patronizing for its explanation of how to search for things. If you care (and suppose you do) then you could bypass creating the wrong image of LQ using http://www.google.com/search?q=linux+mint+burn+blu-ray directly or a way more geekish Yubnub URI like http://www.yubnub.org/parser/parse?c...t+burn+blu-ray

No idea about DeVeDe but you could check the site and forum (http://www.rastersoft.com/programas/devede.html, http://groups.google.com/group/devede-forum) or ask the author. Command line tools like dvd+rw-tools support blu-ray (http://fy.chalmers.se/~appro/linux/DVD+RW/Blu-ray/) as does K3b supports blu-ray (http://k3b.plainblack.com/k3b-news/k...b-2.0-released). With respect to the blu-ray format itself (wrt crippling) you should inform yourself and see http://bluraysucks.com/ or the first part of https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Re...BluRayAndHDDVD (up to Requirements).

Many times this is the way one responds but as you point out does not help anyone just starting out..I know to those well versed, that the OP may have poorly worded or should just have searched a bit before posting
but the way I look at it is, if you can't help or are unwilling to help,
just say no and don't respond..
Lets keep this fine forum friendly and most of all helpful..
