Puppy 'Slacko' 560. 14.0-based, running from a KingSpec SSD on an elderly Compaq desktop tower, circa. 2005, with Athlon64 X2 3800+ & 3 GB RAM. This is pretty much a template for the other 10 or so Pups in the 'kennels', and with rare exceptions, all are variations on this layout, albeit with different colour schemes.

All Pups run largely the same range of apps, many sym-linked remotely from a large, common 'data' partition, so it makes no difference which one I boot into, I can carry on from where I left off the last time.

Not to everyone's taste, I'm sure, but I like 'em.

Xenialpup64 7.5, running on the new hardware.....HP Pavilion 'mini-tower', w/ Pentium 'Gold' G5400, 8 GB DDR4, GeForce GT710 & 4 TB storage.

And a much bigger, 1920x1080 22" monitor. As always, not to everyone's taste.....but I like it!

Recently completed frugal install of Bionicpup64, again running on the new hardware.....now maxed-out from 8 GB (as of the previous screenshot) to a full 32 GB.

As always, my usual "busy" set-up. Not to everyone's taste, but I've been refining my desktop set-ups for several years.

This is the way I happen to like them.....
