Hi Jeremy,

good idea! Hope you don't mind me throwing in a
few links? :)

Here's a few generic ones:
http://www.tuxmobil.org/
http://www.linux-on-laptops.com/

this one is quite important for people
who encounter problems on newer machines,
in particular with APM/ACPI:

Cheers,
Tink

Thumbs up Three cheers

Great idea Jeremy. This forum will prove very useful to those of us who just can't leave Tux at home. I sure could have used this when I was setting up my HP. I will lurk in this forum and try to help when I can. Thanks again boss.

Looking for a good laptop to put RH on

Hello, I am looking for some help with getting a new laptop to put linux on. I have been really thinking about going with a Linuxcertifed for 1299, but that is hard to spend when I can get a dell for 799, But I am not the best at installing Linux on a laptop I have only done it once and the touch pad still doesnt work! Any help or suggestions would be great!!
