I've been trying to get a Toughbook CF-19's touch screen working in Red Hat 5.3 to no avail. The installed kernel is 2.6.18-128.el5. HID definitely detects the touchscreen,
Code:
dmesg | grep -i touch
hiddev96: USB HID v1.00 Device [Fujitsu Component USB Touch Panel] on usb-0000:00:1a.0-2
... so the device is being detected.
Code:
cat /proc/bus/usb/devices
T: Bus=03 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=01 Cnt=01 Dev#= 2 Spd=1.5 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.10 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=0430 ProdID=0530 Rev=10.02
S: Manufacturer=Fujitsu Component
S: Product=USB Touch Panel
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=a0 MxPwr= 20mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=03(HID ) Sub=01 Prot=02 Driver=usbhid
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 8 Ivl=10ms
As far as drivers I've tried (not to say each was exhaustive testing), I've done elographics (from yum), but it seemed to be for serial (/dev/ttySX), and manually tried compiling elo's USB version, which could not link up with the device in the end.
Has anyone had experience with working USB touch screen drivers who could point me in the right direction?
